Wadi Tiwi is Distinguished Landmark in Oman Winter Tourism Map

Wadi Tiwi, located in the Niyabat of Tiwi in the Wilayat of Sur, the Governorate of South A’Sharqiyah, is one of the most important tourist destinations on the tourism map of Oman. Most of the tourist companies put the wadi, which is only 140 km away from the Governorate of Muscat, on all their tourism programs and packages for the region.

During winter season, the wadi has huge influx of tourists. Many tourists during their visit to the Sultanate ask about it for its extraordinary attractions. It is about 36 km long near a mountain village known as Mibam, which is popular for its fertile landscape. The wadi passes by many agricultural villages that grow palm and banana trees overlooking scenic and wonderful mountains. It provides an opportunity for recreation and enjoying the beauty of the exceptional innate nature during winter.

In addition to tourist hotels, hotel apartments, green inns and other accommodation facilities in Sur city near wadi, there are many green lodges in the wadi. There are also other tourist products in Wadi Shaab, less than 2 km away from Wadi Tiwi, including public washrooms and Omani popular restaurants that enrich the tourism experience during the visit to the area.
