Barr Al Jissah, the exceptional luxury destination in Muscat, Oman is delighted to announce the much-anticipated opening of Al Mazaar Edutainment Centre.

Al Mazaar offer a dynamic programme of kid’s entertainment, sports activities, art, culture and much more for adults and children alike to enjoy.
The one-of-a-kind edutainment centre marks the transformation of the Barr Al Jissah heritage village into Oman’s must visit destination. Al Mazaar will be home to Springbox, Oman’s first ever trampoline hall with sports activities including basketball, climbing and a gladiator course; while the multi-purpose air-conditioned sports field is available for basketball, football and badminton use.
Art and culture is at the heart of Al Mazaar; Art Box, a unique concept promoting arts for the entire family, encourages children to create their own masterpieces while visitors can also get involved arts and crafts workshops. Designated art walls, including the Hands of Oman centrepiece, Omani Orchard wall, Rainbow Jigsaw wall, You Create wall, Chalk wall and World United wall further encourage interactive art; while the gallery space will showcase a series of art installations, further promoting Omani art and culture.
In addition to the existing heritage area and Adventure and Teen zones, Al Mazaar will be home to a dedicated children’s party box and adult lounge where parents can relax and have access to Zafran Café, while the young ones are entertained. An exciting retail concept store will soon be announced while throughout the year, an exciting array of live music shows and entertainment will take place at the adjacent amphitheatre.

Directions:
Visitors arriving from the Muscat airport route, take Muscat Muttrah Exit, follow the Sultan Qaboos Road and head straight over the Wadi Kabir fly over. Take the exit to Qantab and head straight to the end of the road to the Barr Al Jissah gate. After passing the gate, follow down through the right lane and turn right at the roundabout to access the parking area. The entrance is on the left hand-side via the heritage village.
