Currency Omani Rial (OMR) = 1,000 baisa. Notes are in denominations of OMR 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1, and 500, 200 and 100 baisa. Coins are in denominations of 50, 25, 10 and 5 baisa.
Credit / Debit Cards and ATMs American Express is accepted, as are other major credit cards. There are over 65 ATMs in the Sultanate of Oman.
